19. PARK MECHANICAL BANK PROTOTYPE | A very unusual offering which could only come out of an old time collection like the Schroeder's! Speculatively this is a prototype bank - the building body is the same as the Park Still Bank, but on this example the embossed words are omitted, the top features a brick chimney and a bear figure with opening in mouth, rotate bear clockwise to lock in place and set coin, pull lever at front and bear spins to deposit coin into chimney/bank. The bank UV black lights fine, shows crazing, and appears to be factory assembled. | Provenance: The Schroeder Collection. | Hairline crack in top corner of rear panel, wear primarily to roof, otherwise (Very Good to Excellent Condition) | $2,000 - $4,000
